ESOR - ASKLEPIOS Course on Mechanical Thrombectomy in Lille/FR, June 26-28, 2019

ESOR, the European School of Radiology, an initiative of the ESR, is organising an ASKLEPIOS Course on Mechanical Thrombectomy in Lille/FR, June 26-28, 2019. The host organiser of this course is Prof. Jean-Pierre Pruvo from Lille. The course is aimed at board-certified radiologists and fellows interested in understanding the challenges of thrombectomy. Mechanical thrombectomy using stentretriever is the new standard treatment for patients suffering from anterior circulation acute ischemic strokes with large vessel occlusions. Due to the dramatic increase in the number of acute ischemic stroke patients receiving MT for the last 3 years, the need to train physicians in mechanical thrombectomy has also become more prominent. Renowned European experts will ensure a high-quality teaching programme, combining lectures, hands-on workshops and interactive clinical case discussions. The course is designed for 60 to 90 participants.

There are still places available.

Please find attached the flyer for the ASKLEPIOS Course on Mechanical Thrombectomy, including the detailed programme as well as the general learning objectives of the course.

Moreover, you can find the full programme brochure including all educational activities for 2019 here for further information about ESOR.

Kind regards,

Professor Valérie Vilgrain
